I got this little piece of information from Temptalia. I love MAC cosmetics, it ia one of my favorite brands and I also love Beth Ditto. She has a beautiful voice, she rocks and yes she is full figured but she rocks it. So yep I am kind of excited and looking forward to this collection. I am keeping a close eye on Temptalia.

Last year (2011) I was in Paris and me an my boyfriend noticed that a lot of people were listening to their music with headphones from Beats by Dr Dre. Wow we already knew about these headphones an especially how expensive these headphones are. But nonetheless a lot of people had them.

Now a see this movement in The Netherlands as well. Again I see a lot of Beat by Dr Dre headphones. SO when I saw yet another girl and boy with these headphones I had to dedicate a post to it.

The headphones have a tight design and I like them a lot. The only thing what is keeping me from buying them is the price. The quality of the sound is just perfect, it is a new portable audio experience. Just check out the YouTube reviews. My boyfriend is very interested in the Dr Dre beatbox. I think Beats by Dr Dre is a serious competitor in this market.

Fashion can be scary, just take a look at this ring, I mean human teeth in your ring……..

Polly van der Glas is the artist who made this ring. And this ring is not the only one she made. Since 2005 her work has centered on materials that were once attached to our bodies: human hair, teeth and fingernails. Kind of creepy or not?

She is particularly interested in examining the constructed nature of beauty, particularly the kind of beauty and bodies our culture values. When attached to the body, we praise hair and teeth that adhere to the rules. They are key sites where body beauty is defined. Yet when they are shed, their meaning and value undergoes a dramatic transformation. Van der Glas explores this transformation in meaning, and uses it to destabilise ideas about beauty.

She sells her items in het Etsy shop Vanderglas. She als has her own blog called van der glas jewelry and objects.

One the hand i think it is incredibly creepy to wear human teeth and hair in your ring, you can even donate your own teeth and then she makes a ring with your own teeth.. But on the other hand you have a totally unique ring…..

Do you know the feeling that you see so many great shoes and clothes, but your bank account just says NO….Well that’s me right now. But no biggie they are great to look at .

I want to keep on taking photo’s and develop myself even more in photography and I want to walk the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse this year, and to pass  the exams of the course I am following/attending. I just want to live life to the fullest with my BF.
